Use special tools, phisically press a connection onto the pipe to make an impermeable connection or seal with no O-ring design.
ASTM F1960 Expansion connections
Using a?special expansion tool, expand the pipe with the reinforce ring until the pipe is expanded?enough to insert?a F1960 fitting.
